Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4 1954. O'Hara has won numerous prizes which include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General’s Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress in 1974 as a member of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. Along with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd began work on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara received praise for her comic acting and writing skills and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for the Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert. Also included were Dwayne Colbert (Steve Carell), Tina Fey and Keegan Michael Key, and Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows.
